Kyanjin Gompa, situated in the heart of the Langtang region, is a small village known for its prevalent Buddhist tradition. Its natural beauty, stunning backdrop, and rich culture have made it a popular destination for thousands of trekkers from around the world. The Langtang Village Trek to Kyanjin Gompa offers a wide diversity of wilderness, including glaciers and mountain peaks, with Langtang Lirung (7,234m) providing a stunning backdrop to the already beautiful environment.

Since the trek passes through the Langtang National Park, trekkers can encounter an immense amount of flora and fauna along the way. The trail is always busy with tourists, and we meet several other trekkers during the journey. The highest point of the trek is Tserko Ri (5,150m), but the trail is easy to walk on, with no difficult climbs or extreme cold.

As we make our way to Kyanjin Gompa, we can see the beautiful yak pastures and numerous waterfalls that add to the magnificence of this trek.

Day 1: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,085ft) - Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi and hike to bamboo.

Day 2: Bamboo to Langtang Village (3,430m/11,253ft) (approximately 5-6 hours).

Day 3: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft) - Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (approximately 3-4 hours)

Day 4: Kyanjin Gompa - Acclimatization day - Explore the surrounding areas, visit the monastery, and enjoy the panoramic mountain views.

Day 5: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel /Rimche- Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (approximately 6-7 hours).

Day 6: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi - Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (approximately 4-5 hours).

Day 7: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu - Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu (approximately 7-8 hours).
