The Machhapuchhre Model Trek is a newly opened trekking area located in the Annapurna Conservation Area. This trek offers a fresh trail that is less crowded, allowing trekkers to explore the hidden cultures of the rural valley through seven major villages along the route. The trek provides stunning views of Mount Fishtail (Machhapuchhre), Himchuli, Mount Mardi, and the Annapurna Himalayan ranges. The region is known for its rich vegetation, scenic streams, and unique lifestyles of various ethnic groups.
While some villages along the trek have developed local homestays for tourists, we arrange camping for the entire Machhapuchhre Trek as part of our 8-day itinerary from and back to Pokhara.
Our trekking starts from Pokhara after a 30-minute drive to the starting point. Our staff team, including guides, cooks, and supporters, will carry all the necessary tents, Fresh and Organic foods, and necessary equipment for the Machhapuchhre Trek. Along the way, you may encounter other tourists, but the trekking route mostly passes through local rural villages, providing interesting insights into the daily lives of the local people.
Start the day with an early morning breakfast at the hotel. Next, we will embark on a scenic journey to Pokhara via a tourist bus, which will take approximately 6-7 hours along the beautiful Prithivi Highway. Along the way, you'll have short stops for lunch and to admire the stunning scenery. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you'll check in to your hotel and have time to freshen up before being free to explore Lakeside Pokhara, known for its picturesque lakeside promenade and vibrant atmosphere. As an alternative option, you can choose to take a private car, which will take approximately 6 hours, or a flight that will only take 25 minutes, for a more comfortable trip to Pokhara.

Ghachok is particularly known for its panoramic vistas of the entire Himalayan range, making it a perfect spot to take in the majestic scenery.
