Ghale Gaun (2,080m) is a village located in the Annapurna Trekking area, inhabited by the ethnic Gurung people. To reach this culturally rich village, one must travel 179 km from Kathmandu to the village of Khudi in Lamjung and then trek up the hills to Ghale Gaun. The Ghale Gaun Trek HomeStay offers tourists new and unique experiences.

This 10-day trek provides an opportunity to explore the culture of the Gurung people, as well as the stunning beauty of the Annapurna and other mountain ranges, dense forests, and eastern Himalayas. The trek offers views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Mt. Machhapuchhre, the Annapurna Range, and Nilgiri mountains, all serving as a perfect backdrop to the breathtaking scenery. Additionally, Mt. Manaslu and Mt. Ganesh is visible and provides a great view. The trek also features highlights such as hydropower projects, the Pempro waterfall, and Talangyo lake, adding to the beauty of this unforgettable experience. After the trek, we return to Pokhara and then take a ride back to Kathmandu.
