The tour begins with a sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley, where we visit two UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Swyambhunath Stupa and Bouddhanath Stupa. In Kathmandu, we also visit the Asura and Yanglasho caves and various monasteries where it is believed that Guru Padmasambhava meditated and attained enlightenment. We also spend a few days in Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, where we can explore the Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and other historical sites associated with Buddha.
